22084 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Land Information: What government resources, if any, have been spent in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, on a pay equity claim that will be halted, if any?

Hon Chris Penk: I have been advised that Land Information New Zealand has provided remuneration and role information to Wellington City Council and the Department of Corrections to support discussions/negotiations. Cadastral Surveyors have been used as comparator positions in two pay equity claims: Librarians/Library Assistants and Psychologists roles. No further input was required for either of these equity claims.
