22058 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Education: What government resources, if any, have been spent in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, on a pay equity claim that will be halted, if any?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) that it has used a range of resources to investigate pay equity claims, including, but not limited to, Ministry personnel and remuneration specialists. I am further advised that the Ministry progressed claims that have been settled and claims that were outstanding when the Equal Pay Act was amended together and that it is not possible to isolate the investigation cost for each claim.
