21993 (2025). Hon Marama Davidson to the Minister of Transport: What funding, if any, has been set aside by Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency to fund pest management at Mt Messenger?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that $7.4m has been spent on pest management activities from early 2022 to March 2025, including set up costs. Future funding for pest management activities will be clarified soon. This will include an allocation from the National Land Transport Fund to fund pest management activities, which are a commitment NZTA must honour as part of the consents for the project.
