21979 (2025). Ingrid Leary to the Minister of Education: Have any schools which had counsellors in 2023 reduced the number of counsellors in 2024 or 2025; if so, why?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that the Ministry of Education does not collect data at a school level regarding the number of counsellors working in schools. Schools can choose to use their staffing entitlements to employ counsellors to meet the specific needs of their students.
