Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that for cases finalised in the 12 months ending 28 February 2025, the average cost of service for Public Defence Service Provider Approval Level (PAL) 2 cases was $3704.68 and was $3773.27 for legally aided Provider Approval Level (PAL) 2 cases where the supplier was in the private profession.
