21674 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Disability Issues: On how many occasions, if any, broken down by date and title of email or document sent, has the minister sent or forwarded emails or official Government documents provided to them in their capacity as Minister to email accounts that weren't provided to them by Ministerial Services, Parliamentary Services or any other Public sector provider?
Hon Louise Upston: It is not general practice for me to send or forward official Ministerial documents to a personal email address. There are some occasions where this has occurred however I do make a strong effort to limit this where possible. Occasionally, emails have been sent or forwarded to or from my personal email account for a range of reasons including sending speech notes and sending meeting notes I have taken on my phone. None of these emails contain any official Government documents or any material of a sensitive nature. I also received one email from a member of the public that I forwarded to my ministerial email for my office to respond to. There are no instances where I have sent an email from a personal email account with the purpose of conducting official ministerial business.
