Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Immigration: On how many occasions, if any, broken down by date and title of email or document received, has the Minister received emails or official Government documents provided to them in their capacity as Ministers in email accounts that weren't provided to them by Ministerial Services, Parliamentary Services or any other Public sector provider?
Hon Erica Stanford: The list below covers emails both forwarded to my personal email address and received by my personal email address and a subsequent action. 22/12/2023 Fwd: FOR REVIEW: media response 9/02/2024 Fwd: Nine to noon talking points 17/02/2024 FW: PLEASE LEAVE FOR MINISTER: Q and A talking points and info 7/04/2024 Fwd: Implementation dates for AEWV changes 3/06/2024 Fwd: Visa conditions for parents, grandparents to be revised this term - immigration minister | RNZ News 7/10/2024 Fwd: Fw: Scan of Active Investor Plus Visa Briefing 20/10/2024 Fwd: URGENT Help please As I advised the House, I have also received unsolicited emails to my personal email address such as requests from people overseas for personal immigration advice. While these people are attempting to contact me as the Minister of Immigration, I have no Ministerial responsibility for providing non-citizens with immigration advice. These emails to my personal email address are not responded to. This is also my answer to Written Parliamentary Question 21459 (2025).
