21097 (2025). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister for the Environment: Does she intend to ban on the burning or burial of recyclable materials such as bale wrap?

Hon Penny Simmonds: No, the Government is not currently considering a ban. However, consultation is currently underway on proposed regulations to support a product stewardship scheme for agrichemicals, their containers, and farm plastics.
