Hon Dr Shane Reti: Stats NZ assured me that it has the resources it needs to continue to publish its current suite of statistical products. Stats NZ is committed to providing high quality statistics and that their outputs remain reliable, fit-for-purpose, and within international best practice. Stats NZ has advised that, as with any organisation, there is turnover and vacancies. Stats NZ is currently advertising to fill data analyst vacancies to ensure their statistical delivery group is fully resourced.
