Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Energy: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, planning to open on the week beginning 5th May 2025 with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and how many roles are affected?

Hon Simon Watts: As Minister of Energy, I have no responsibility for any government departments or Ministries. In respect of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, I refer the Member to the Minister for Economic Growth’s answer to written parliamentary question 21048 (2025). With regard to Crown entities under the Energy Portfolio, I am advised that for EECA and the EA the response is none.
