20962 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Prime Minister: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, planning to open on the week beginning 5th May 2025 with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and how many roles are affected?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by the DPMC. I am advised that there are no consultations with DPMC and NEMA staff planned for the week commencing 5 May 2025 around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions.
