20915 (2026). Hon Carmel Sepuloni to the Minister for Pacific Peoples: What amount, if any, of the Pacific Warden funding boost has been spent on the paid coordinator role salary in the Auckland region to date?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that the Ministry for Pacific Peoples (the Ministry) provided $250,000 (excluding GST) to the Auckland Pacific Wardens Charitable Trust for delivery of this initiative in 2025/26 which covers all operational costs. The Ministry does not hold detailed breakdowns of expenditure by individual cost items.
