20909 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister for Infrastructure: What advice, if any, has he received on the suitability of a Public-Private Partnership procurement model for each project presented as a potential Public-Private Partnership opportunity at the Government's March 2025 Investment Summit?
Hon Chris Bishop: I have received advice on the three opportunities that were presented as being suitable for PPPs at the March 2025 Investment Summit. I have explained the outcome of the business case process for the Ministry of Justice courthouses and why these weren’t procured as a PPP in the answer to previous questions. Regarding the briefings on Phase 1 of the Christchurch Men’s Prison Redevelopment Programme and Section 1 (Warkworth to Te Hana) of the Northland Corridor, these remain commercially sensitive, but I expect to make announcements in coming months.
