20825 (2026). Kahurangi Carter to the Minister for Children: How much funding, if any, will go to the Te Oranga Care and Protection Residence from Budget 2026/2027?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki internal budget allocations have not been finalised yet. Oranga Tamariki received $18.160 million operating and $5.118 million capital funding over four years through Budget 2025 to support the re-operationalisation of Te Oranga Care and Protection Residence.
