20806 (2026). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Education: Where is “Schools’ operating expenses for peer support and coach funding” being reprioritised to; and how, if at all, will this impact the available operational grants of the schools concerned?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L) Operating Expenses for peer support and coach funding will be reprioritised to support Government priority education initiatives with greater potential to improve educational outcomes. The schools’ operating expenses for peer support and coach funding does not impact operational grants for schools. The Ministry will continue funding PB4L School-Wide FTE to support the implementation of the PB4L school wide initiative. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 20807 (2026).
