Hon Paul Goldsmith: The Government is focused on lifting Pacific employment by investing in skills, business growth, and pathways into high-growth sectors. In addition to the Government’s targets for improved results in education and work, the Ministry for Pacific Peoples has specific targets in relation to our investments which support economic growth and education. This includes creating up to 200 jobs every year through the Pacific Business Trust, delivering 400 Toloa Secondary Scholarships and 11 Toloa Tertiary Scholarships, and placing up to 57 Pacific Youth into well-paid gaming and technology careers over four years.
