20550 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to 5385 (2026), have the improvements to the Gateway Assessment education referral processes and guidance been completed, if not, when will they be completed by?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that improvements to the Gateway Assessment education referral processes and guidance are being jointly led by Oranga Tamariki and the Ministry of Education. I am further advised that the updated processes and guidance are currently in the final stages of sign-off and are scheduled to go live on 14 June 2026.
