20480 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Lead Coordination Minister for the Government's Response to the Royal Commission’s Report into Historical Abuse in State Care and in the Care of Faith-based Institutions: How much, if anything, did the Minister's departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on flights in 2023, broken down into international and domestic flights?
Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Crown Response Office that for the period 1 July 2023 to 31 December 2023, it spent a total of $98,647 on domestic air travel. No money was spent on international air travel for this same period.
I am also advised data for the preceding period 1 January 2023 to 30 June 2023 is not available due to the agency, who hosted the Crown Response Office at that time, moving to a new financial system. The expense and impact on daily business operations that would be required to retrieve the data would require a significant amount of time to collate and I do not think this would be in the public interest.
