Hon Peeni Henare to the Minister of Transport: What discussion documents have the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any, released for public consultation during the period 27 November 2023 to 28 May 2024, and on what date, if any, did the Minister’s Office receive these documents for their feedback?

Hon Simeon Brown: Agencies will often consult with the public, key stakeholders, and other agencies on a range of topics. On occasion, my office may also be asked to provide feedback. Discussion documents released by NZTA for public consultation are publicly available on the NZTA, including the date consultation began and ended: www.nzta.govt.nz/about-us/public-consultation-hub/. NZTA has also released the following discussion documents for public or targeted consultation, in the time period specified: - Draft Investment Prioritisation Method, 2 April 2024 - 13 May 2024. - Emergency Works Policy consultation, 1 May 2024 - 19 June 2024.
