20462 (2026). Steve Abel to the Minister of Conservation: What assessment, if any, has been undertaken of the potential environmental impacts arising under the proposed conservation reforms?
Hon Tama Potaka: A significant amount of analysis and advice went into the development of the Conservation Amendment Bill over years. Key examples of this, such as Regulatory Impact Statements and Supplementary Analysis Reports, have been proactively released by the Department of Conservation and more will be released on the DOC website over the coming weeks.
