Hon Peeni Henare to the Minister for Sport and Recreation: What discussion documents have the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any, released for targeted consultation during the period 27 November 2023 to 28 May 2024, and on what date, if any, did the Minister’s Office receive these documents for their feedback?

Hon Chris Bishop: Sport NZ Group and the Integrity Transition Programme have not released any discussion documents in this period. However, for completeness, the Integrity Transition Programme undertook targeted engagement with the sport and recreation sector between 8 February 2024 and 7 March 2024 on a working draft of the Code of Integrity for Sport and Recreation. The documents provided as part of that engagement were: - Draft Code of Integrity for Sport and Recreation (version 0.8) - Overview of the Draft Code of Integrity for Sport and Recreation (version 0.8) - Overview of Draft Integrity Code policy suite The documents were not provided to the Minister’s Office for feedback because the Integrity Code will sit within the independent statutory functions of the new Integrity Sport and Recreation Commission.
