20214 (2026). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Associate Minister of Health: What organisations, clinicians, iwi, Māori health providers, or other stakeholders, if any, were consulted by Pharmac regarding the proposal to remove Māori and Pacific priority access to Type 2 diabetes medicines?
Hon David Seymour: I am advised that Pharmac engaged with a range of groups to advise and discuss the current proposal to widen access to Type 2 diabetes medicines. The groups are:
