20212 (2026). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Associate Minister of Health: What data, if any, does Pharmac hold on Māori uptake rates of the Type 2 diabetes medicines for which Pharmac is proposing to remove ethnicity-based eligibility criteria?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised Pharmac does not hold data on the number of individuals eligible for empagliflozin based on ethnicity criteria only, as some people may meet multiple criteria.
