20198 (2026). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Education: Is the Minister satisfied that the Ministry of Education is giving effect to her policy directions, given she has said the Ministry can “sometimes they can go a little bit rogue” in relation to ESOL funding, and if not, what formal action has she taken to address this?

Hon Erica Stanford: Yes, I am satisfied that the Ministry are giving effect to my six education priorities.
