20188 (2026). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Education: How many English-medium schools, if any, have been issued an ERO evaluation specifically relating to their delivery of culturally responsive teaching since this Government took office in December 2023?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by ERO that all English-medium state and state-integrated school reviews use the School Improvement Framework, where consideration of culturally responsive practices is evaluated across the Teaching and Learning, Curriculum, and the Professional Capability and Collective Efficacy domains. Between 1 July 2023 and 18 May 2026, 1,878 schools have been reviewed using this framework
