20157 (2026). Hūhana Lyndon to the Minister of Health: How many, if any, graduate nurses were employed by Te Whatū Ora in 2025 and this current year til April, how many were employed at 0.4 FTE?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that as at 14 May 2026, 1,529 Health New Zealand hospital-based offers have been accepted through the 2025 Graduate Registered Nurse placement via the Advance Choice of Employment programme. I am further advised that Health NZ has not employed graduate Registered Nurses at 0.4 FTE.
