Hon Peeni Henare to the Minister for Energy: What discussion documents have the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any, released for public consultation during the period 27 November 2023 to 28 May 2024, and on what date, if any, did the Minister’s Office receive these documents for their feedback?

Hon Simeon Brown: As Minister of Energy, I have no responsibility for any government departments or Ministries. In respect of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, I refer the Member to the Minister for Economic Development’s answer to written parliamentary question PQ 20130 (2024). With regard to Crown entities under the Energy portfolio, I am advised that the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority did not release any documents for public consultation and the Electricity Authority released 13 documents for public consultation during that period. Refer to the attached for the titles and dates of release.
