20131 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Has Health New Zealand offered any of their employed Registered Nurses a Nurse Practitioner role post-completion of the Nurse Practitioner Training Support Scheme, if so how many over the past three financial years?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the Nurse Practitioner Training Support Scheme is currently in its first year of operation and no Registered Nurses have completed the practicum year. Therefore, no offers have been made for Nurse Practitioner roles.
