20098 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: Would Ministry of Social Development consider replacing case managers with artificial intelligence or digital tools; if so, why?

Hon Louise Upston: In relation to the recent Government announcements to modernise the public service and reduce workforce numbers, changes will occur over time, and the Ministry of Social Development will carefully work through what this means before making any decisions. No workforce decisions have been made as of now. This is also my response to WPQ 20099 (2026)
