20070 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Statistics: How much infrastructure investment, if any, will be required to implement the new census system, proposed under the Data & Statistics (Census) Amendment Bill?

Hon Scott Simpson: I am advised by Stats NZ officials that the costs of implementing the new census model are still being finalised and will be met from baseline funding.
