20034 (2026). Hon Carmel Sepuloni to the Minister for Pacific Peoples: Further to his answer to written question 18961 (2026): does he consider these priorities to be the bare minimum for any Minister when it comes to their agencies, if not, why not?
Hon Paul Goldsmith: No, as Minister for Pacific Peoples, I see real opportunities for Pacific communities to contribute to our economy and society through increased labour market participation, entrepreneurship, business development, and the many social, cultural, and community contributions Pacific peoples make across the country. I have directed the Ministry to remain focused on key government priorities, including economic growth, health, housing, education, and law and order.
