19976 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Attorney-General: How, if at all, has artificial intelligence been deployed in a customer service function in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any?

Hon Chris Bishop: Crown Law’s function is to provide legal services to government, and the Parliamentary Counsel Office is New Zealand's law drafting office. They do not have a public customer service function.
