19958 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: How, if at all, has artificial intelligence been deployed in a customer service function in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any?

Hon Louise Upston: As Minister for Tourism and Hospitality, I hold no responsibility for any government departments or Ministries. Regarding Crown entities under the Tourism and Hospitality portfolio, I am advised that Tourism New Zealand does not have any customer service functions.
