19952 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Women: How, if at all, has artificial intelligence been deployed in a customer service function in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any?

Hon Nicola Grigg: The Ministry for Women supports women interested in governance positions by sharing opportunities about available roles and training opportunities through our BoardConnector database (previously known as the Nominations database). An internal use only AI querying tool within the “BoardConnector” registration application has been deployed. This process now utilises a Narrow Generative AI (GenAI) capability for: • Automated CV scanning;  • Automated CV data extraction and storage; and  • AI search functionality leveraging Azure AI Search.  AI has allowed the Ministry to streamline the registration process for the service
