19935 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: Can he provide an estimate as to when kiwis can expect a New Zealand to be on top of gang crime, and if so, when?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I find it remarkable that the Member wants an answer as to when the Government will be "on top of gang crime" in light of the answer provided to WPQ 11101 (2023) and then repeatedly stood by in answer to Oral Questions by a previous Minister of Police. The Government is working tirelessly to restore law and order after six years in which these issues were allowed to bake in.
