19913 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Further to WPQ 18387, why does the Minister's office not hold this information?

Hon Scott Simpson: My example illustrated how under the current legislation, lenders could be subject to unreasonable penalties for minor and inconsequential omissions. If there have been any cases of this occurring, and if the Commerce Commission decided to investigate those cases, the information would be publicly available on the Commerce Commission’s website at https://comcom.govt.nz/case-register.
