Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter October to December 2023 in achieving the individual measure ‘The National Immunisation Programme to publish nationally accepted guidelines for the functioning of the immunisation system, including universal recall messaging’ within the ‘Initial Priorities for the National Immunisation Programme in Aotearoa 2022’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that between October and December 2023, nationally accepted guidelines for the functioning of the immunisation system, including universal recall messaging, were not published. I am further advised the vision and principles that guide the functioning of the immunisation system will be defined in the strategic approach to Immunisation in New Zealand.
