19880 (2026). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: How many referrals for older persons mental health, did Health New Zealand decline in the Southern region, if any, between March 2022 and March 2023?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that 382 of the 8,881 referrals for older persons mental health in the Canterbury district between March 2022 and March 2023. I am further advised that this data is not currently available for the other Southern Region districts. Health NZ is developing national reporting systems which will make this information accessible in the future.
