Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter October to December 2023 in actioning the recommendation ‘Building on the COVID-19 approach, using Whakarongorau – New Zealand Telehealth Services as a recall/ pre-call service and triage to booking with GPs or Māori / Pacific providers, depending on preference’ under ‘Priority Area 4: Enrolment into health services from birth’ within the ‘Initial Priorities for the National Immunisation Programme in Aotearoa 2022’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that general practice remain responsible for pre-call/recall for their enrolled populations, and no progress to transition this to a telehealth service was taken in the quarter October to December 2023.
