Such documentation needs to be accessible to patients and healthcare providers so provision of opportunistic immunisation can be offered at any healthcare interaction’ under ‘Priority Area 6: Catch-up immunisations’ within the ‘Initial Priorities for the National Immunisation Programme in Aotearoa 2022’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that in December 2023, the Aotearoa Immunisation Register (AIR) was launched, which is a digital system that records immunisations received across the lifespan. Whaihua – a new outreach tool was also launched, which connects with AIR to enable visibility of immunisation history to outreach providers.
