Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter October to December 2023 in actioning the recommendation ‘Establish a National Immunisation Technical Advisory Group as per World Health Organization recommendations, with co-governance and underpinned by Te Tiriti o Waitang’ under ‘Priority Area 8: Governance, technical advice and service coverage oversight’ within the ‘Initial Priorities for the National Immunisation Programme in Aotearoa 2022’?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that between October and December 2023, draft Terms of Reference for the National Immunisation Technical Advisory Group (NITAG) were developed. The NITAG membership was confirmed in May 2024 with the first meeting held on 30 May 2024.
