19839 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: How many full-time equivalent staff in the Minister's agencies, if any, are working on the Government's response to the Royal Commission into Historical Abuse in State Care and the in the Care of Faith-based Institutions, listed by permanent or temporary, and role?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) that staff in a range of roles across the Ministry are presently engaged in supporting the response to the Royal Commission into Historical Abuse in State Care and the in the Care of Faith-based Institutions. This includes staff from policy, operations, record keeping, legal and other subject matter experts, as well as a staff in the Ministry’s Sensitive Claims team who provide redress to claimants. This currently amounts to approximately 7.0 full time equivalent staff collectively across the Ministry.
