19834 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter October to December 2023 to reduce waiting times for dentists across the country?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that good progress was made during the October - December 2023 quarter to reduce wait times within the public health sector. As at 31 March 2024, there were fewer patients waiting >365 days for dental surgery within the public health sector, than at the same point in 2023.
