Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Justice: How many full-time equivalent staff in the Minister's agencies, if any, are working on the Government's response to the Royal Commission into Historical Abuse in State Care and the in the Care of Faith-based Institutions, listed by permanent or temporary, and role?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The Ministry of Justice currently has approximately 3.35 FTE allocated to work on the Government’s response to the Royal Commission into Abuse in Care. This includes 1 FTE Principal Policy Advisor (until 30 June 2025), with the remainder of the FTE spread across Policy and operational teams and fluctuating as the work requires.
