19826 (2024). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What cost, if any, of advising the Minister on a Wellington Tunnel proposal has been paid for out of the National Land Transport Fund?

Hon Simeon Brown: As at 24 May 2024, NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi has spent $949,349 on consulting services related specifically to the investigative work for the long tunnel option. The investigation costs are funded through the National Land Transport Fund.
