19816 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Disability Issues: Which of the 138 recommendations of the Royal Commission into Historical Abuse in State Care and in the Care of Faith-based Institutions, if any, does the Minister have lead responsibility for?

Hon Louise Upston: As Minister for Disability Issues, I am actively contributing to the Government’s response to the recommendations made in the reports of the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Historical Abuse in State Care and in the Care of Faith-based Institutions. The detailed approach to the response is under active consideration, including the roles of relevant agencies and Ministers in the response.
