19809 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for ACC: How many full-time equivalent staff in the Minister's agencies, if any, are working on the Government's response to the Royal Commission into Historical Abuse in State Care and the in the Care of Faith-based Institutions, listed by permanent or temporary, and role?
Hon Scott Simpson: ACC advises me that a small number of ACC staff members coordinate ACC’s input into the Government’s response, which comes from various ACC teams, as required. This is a usual part of those staff members’ roles, rather than involving specific permanent or temporary staff dedicated to this work. As stated in the response to WPQ 19775 (2025), a small number of experienced ACC staff members are assigned to prioritise applications where the claimant identifies as a Lake Alice torture survivor, as part of their regular work.
