19806 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Māori Development: How many full-time equivalent staff in the Minister's agencies, if any, are working on the Government's response to the Royal Commission into Historical Abuse in State Care and the in the Care of Faith-based Institutions, listed by permanent or temporary, and role?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised that a number of staff are presently engaged in this important work at different levels of Te Puni Kōkiri. In total I am advised that approximately 1.5 full time equivalent staff in Te Puni Kōkiri are supporting the Government's response to the Royal Commission into Historical Abuse in State Care and in the Care of Faith-based Institutions. These staff are permanent employees.
