Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Lead Coordination Minister for the Government's Response to the Royal Commission’s Report into Historical Abuse in State Care and in the Care of Faith-based Institutions: How many, if any, community groups have received funding from the fund to honour those who died in care and are buried in unmarked graves, and strengthen survivor-led initiatives that support those in need?

Hon Erica Stanford: As of 2 May a total of $1,067,500 of funding has been allocated across 22 applications. The organisations who have received funding are: • New Zealand Collective of Abused in State Care Charitable Trust • Community House (Whanganui) Association Incorporated • Māia Collective • Male Survivors Aotearoa • Mental Illness Survivors Team Trust • Male Survivors Wellington • Male Survivors Otago • Tauawhi Charitable Trust • Male Survivors Taranaki Trust • Male Survivors Bay of Plenty Trust • Papakura Support and Counselling Centre Incorporated • Tautoko Tāne Te Tai Tokerau • Te Roopū Toiora Charitable Trust A further eight organisations are currently in the process of having their funding agreements finalised.
