19761 (2026). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: Further to WPQ 17172 (2026); What services and functions does the Enterprise Business Group provide New Zealand Police?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Police does not have a functional business group formally named “Enterprise Business Group”. Rather, “Enterprise” refers to a grouping of cost centres. The primary functions of this grouping are: • To host organisational wide assets with associated depreciation and capital charge • To host enterprise-wide expenditure, such as long service leave; and • To host any funding requiring internal governance approval to allocate, such as internal investment plan operating expenses.
